Staff of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State, BCOS, have started arriving the Basorun premises of the agency.
This was few minutes after OYOINSIGHT broke news about the planned demolition of the staff quarters.
This newspaper also learnt that the management of the agency is about to address the staff.
While the bulldozers are still stationed not far from the quarters, it was learnt that the operators might have left the vicinity as staff continue to gather.
Inside the quarters, according to staff, are “heritage of founding fathers including mosque and Christian chapel.”
They alleged that Makinde plans to name the estate in allegedly in honour of one of his late godfathers, explaining that “no quit notice was served to workers living in the quarters. The land is already being demarcated by surveyors and developers.”
