One of the purpose of praying for your marital breakthrough is to prevent your marital plans from bad luck and thereby seal up your marriage under the blood of redemption. Bad luck is a thief of blessings. Once you are seeing a bad signal coming, quickly use Psalm 7:15-16, Isaiah 54:15 & 17, Job 5:12. In preparing and at the same time praying for your wedding ceremony, you need to put your focus on financial blessings, families unity and love. If you fail to put this into consideration, things may begin to fall apart. And that can disorganize you! Marriage is an institution established by God, in the book of Genesis God said it is not good for the man to be alone.
The Bible says, therefore, shall a man live his father and mother and shall cleave to his wife. The two then become one, what a mystery! Quickly know this that, “marriage is not for boys but for men, not for small girls but for women,” you must be matured physically, spiritually, mentally, socially, financially before you get married. The question now is: Do you think the man or woman is fit to be your husband or wife? Or have you started developing dislike for him or her? Maybe you discover both of you are not compatible anymore.
The truth is, before settling down with him or her, you need to pray very hard again to confirm your marriage with him or her. It is better to break up a courtship than marriage! Think wisely now! In order for God to give answers to your prayers, there are other important traits you must exhibit or shown to your partner which are love, forgiveness, support etc. In marriage it is said that the couple that prays together stays together.
Prayer is very vital in a relationship/courtship as well as reading scriptures and taking devotion to God. Learn to pray together with your partner, because the Bible says if two of you shall agree as touching anything, it will be done. There are forces of darkness that may be militating against your life or your future home, you need to destroy their plans in fervent prayers. You need to commit everything especially your wedding plans, to God in prayers. Jesus said watch and pray!

Ephesians 4:2-3 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Mark 10:9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Song of Solomon 8:6-7 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned. Ecclesiastes 4:9 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. Philippians 1:7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace. Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 1 John 4:18-19, There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. Ruth 1:16-17 , And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. Song of Solomon 4:10 How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse! how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thine ointments than all spices! Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Romans 15:5-6 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:21-30 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
